Thoracic whips are a great way to rapidly improve shoulder, trunk, and neck mobility. Whip to the side you are most limited. This should not cause pain or discomfort. If it improves mobility in any of the above areas, repeat before a workout as part of your dynamic warm up. If the mobility improves but doesn't stick, repeat hourly or repeatedly throughout the day until the new pattern is learned.
